The suspects, Jeremiah James, 23, of Shelbyville, Kentucky, and Madison Greenwell, 21, also of Shelbyville, Kentucky, were apprehended safely after a coordinated response by local and state law enforcement.
The incident began when Mt. Juliet police received information linking the suspects to a murder that occurred in the region earlier in the week. Officers established surveillance and attempted to initiate a traffic stop on a vehicle matching the description provided. The vehicle, however, fled the scene, prompting a pursuit along I-40.
