Colorado Springs Police Identify Homicide Victim as 48-Year-Old Daniel Parsons

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – September 2025 — Authorities have identified the victim of a recent homicide north of Downtown Colorado Springs as 48-year-old Daniel Parsons, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD).

The incident occurred on Thursday, August 28, prompting a swift response from law enforcement. On Friday, August 29, the El Paso County Coroner’s Office conducted an autopsy and confirmed Parsons’ identity. While the official cause and manner of death will be determined by the coroner’s office, CSPD has confirmed the case is being investigated as a homicide.
