BETHLEHEM TOWNSHIP, Ohio (September 5, 2025) – Brody Nalley, 20, of Bowerston, was critically injured and James Brown, 69, of Salineville, was involved in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday evening in Coshocton County, according to the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said the collision occurred around 6:45 p.m. at the intersection of U.S. Route 36 and County Road 27.
An initial investigation determined that Nalley was driving west on U.S. 36 when he attempted to make a left turn onto County Road 27. Deputies said he failed to yield to an oncoming vehicle and was struck by Brown’s eastbound car.
Nalley sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported by Coshocton County EMS to Genesis Hospital in Coshocton. His current condition has not been released.
Authorities said Brown was not reported to have sustained serious injuries in the crash.
Multiple agencies responded to the scene, including the Walhonding Valley Fire District, Jackson Township Fire Department, Prince’s Wrecker Service, AEP, and REACT. The roadway was temporarily blocked as crews worked to clear the vehicles and restore traffic flow.
The Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the incident. No charges have been announced at this time.
