BURNING MAN FESTIVAL HOMICIDE: VICTIM VADIM KRUGLOV IDENTIFIED

PERSHING COUNTY, Nev. (September 2, 2025) – The Pershing County Sheriff’s Office, in coordination with the Washoe County Medical Examiner’s Office, has confirmed the identity of the victim in a homicide that occurred during the 2025 Burning Man Festival as Vadim Kruglov, 37, of Washington State.

Authorities confirmed that Kruglov’s family has been notified of his passing.

In a statement, Pershing County Sheriff Jerry Allen extended his deepest condolences to the family of Mr. Kruglov, expressing sympathy for their tragic loss during what should have been a celebratory event. “Our hearts go out to Vadim Kruglov’s family during this difficult time,” Sheriff Allen said.

The Pershing County Sheriff’s Office emphasized that the investigation into the homicide is ongoing, and law enforcement officials are actively seeking any information that could lead to the arrest and prosecution of the person or persons responsible. Authorities are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity or has knowledge related to the case to come forward.
