FARGO, ND – The Fargo Police Department (FPD) is asking for the public’s help in locating 23-year-old Lena Deoliveira of Moorhead, who is wanted for attempted murder following a violent assault that left an unidentified male victim seriously injured early Friday morning.
According to police, officers were dispatched at 5:39 a.m. on September 5 to the 700 block of College Street North after receiving reports of an aggravated assault. When they arrived, officers found the victim suffering from significant injuries. Emergency responders provided immediate medical care before transporting him to a local hospital, where he continues to receive treatment. His current condition has not been released.
During the course of their investigation, detectives identified Deoliveira as the primary suspect. Authorities confirmed that she is known to the victim, though details about their relationship have not been disclosed.
The FPD has issued an alert asking the public to remain vigilant and report any information that could help locate Deoliveira. She is described as 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing approximately 130 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
Because of the severity of the charges and the potential danger she may pose, authorities have classified the case as attempted murder. Police are urging residents not to approach Deoliveira if they see her. Instead, anyone with information about her whereabouts should immediately contact law enforcement.
