The incident unfolded in the 2700 block of Leaphart Road, McCullough’s residence, after deputies received a 911 call reporting a gunshot wound. According to Lexington County Sheriff Jay Koon, a witness told authorities they heard a “loud gunshot” following an argument at the home.

After responding to the scene, deputies obtained a search warrant to examine the residence, where they recovered a firearm believed to be connected to the incident. Sheriff Koon noted that Brady and McCullough knew each other for some time, but emphasized that this appeared to be an isolated incident.
